The Beginning...

I'm trying to focus on ideas and characters....here some sketches.

...may I introduce you to "Silenziosa-Mente"

"Silenziosa-Mente" is a 2D animation project. The idea is to tell, through a flexible instrument that allows me to give shape to the many imaginative potentials, dreams and nightmares that we go through every day, in a sort of "metaphor of vision" that shows the shapes of the world beyond realism.

The plot doesn't have a classical narrative structure, it's rather like a series of visions and dreams that grow like a sensory journey, a kind of "Alice in Wonderland" where the "wonderful" world is instead represented by the torments that the protagonist "The red-haired girl" lives in an invented space, populated by strange characters and symbolic figures that transfigure the current society and the forms of communication.

"Silenziosa-Mente" è un progetto di animazione 2D. L'idea è quella di raccontare, attraverso uno strumento duttile che consente di dare corpo alle innumerevoli potenzialità immaginifiche, i sogni e gli incubi che ci attraversano quotidianamente, in una sorta di "metafora della visione" che mostri le forme del mondo oltre il realismo. 

La storia non ha una vera e propria strutturata narrativa classica, sono una serie di visioni oniriche e sensoriali che si sviluppano come un viaggio, una sorta di “Alice nel paese delle meraviglie” ma dove il mondo “meraviglioso” è invece rappresentato dai tormenti che la protagonista "La Ragazza dai Capelli Rossi" vive all’interno di uno spazio inventato, popolato da strani personaggi e figure simboliche che trasfigurano la società attuale e le forme di comunicazione.
